Dear Mr Blair and the above named MP's

You may recall, I have recently been in contact with you regarding the problems at the Bridlington & District Hospital, East Yorkshire, I can now inform you that we have now constructed a website regarding these problems, www.savebridlingtonhospital.co.uk so that we bring home the fact to everyone in our area, we firmly believe that New Labour are letting the NHS down very badly through lack of investment in this area.

Numerous letters to The Rt. Hon. Tony Blair (Prime Minister) (6) in all, seem to have fallen on deaf ears, replies say my problems have been noted and passed onto the Health Secretary, these letters sent to The Rt. Hon. Alan Milburn (Health Secretary) (approx 10) in all have also fallen on deaf ears? Nothing as been done, New Labour is very good at passing the buck, monies destined for the Health Service is not been passed on, although the people of Britain are being taxed by The Rt. Hon. Gordon Brown M.P who says the income tax increase is for the new reform within the NHS, we ask? Were is this money? We have not seen any in this area?

I have been asking the New Labour Government if it would be possible to have a Cash Injection at Government Level put into this deprived area, the shortage of Nurses & Doctors is unacceptable.

I have been in contact with the Rt. Hon. Mr Charles Kennedy M.P. (Leader of the Liberal Democrats) asking him to add his influence to this ongoing problem in the NHS Health Service to which he is very sympathetic.

Our very own; MP The Rt. Hon. Greg Knight (Bridlington) is doing all he can but help; support & backing are always required in cases such as this. The Rt. Hon. John Greenway MP (Ryedale) also supports this campaign.

The Rt. Hon. Mr Iain Duncan-Smith’s reply is also sympathetic and he as past our information about Hospital status on to the: Shadow Health Minister, (Conservative) for his comments.

We would like to subject Lobbying Parliament with this health problem in our area.

I look forward to your reply in anticipation, hoping you can help? Please view our website & comment, thank you for taking time to read this supplication.

Michael Pilling (Mr) Chairman "Save Bridlington Hospital" Campaign
