Health Watchdogs are asking residents fir their
opinions on GP and other community healthcare services in the Bridlington
area as part of a review. The Commission for Health Improvement (CHI)
is carrying out a routine inspection on the Yorkshire Wolds & Coast
Primary Care Trust, which runs many of the surrounding area, including
the Macmillan Wolds Unit at the Bridlington Hospital. To help its study,
the commission wants to hear the views of local people, health staff and
other organisations. A team from the commission will be visiting Bridlington
on Wednesday 15th October 2003 and anyone wanting to see them should contact
the (CHI) on Tele: 0845 601 3012, to make an appointment, pass on comments
or get more information.
People can also e-mail their views to: [email protected] but they must
include the name of the practice or primary care trust they are commenting
about. Some of the above information appeared in the: Bridlington Free
Press: Thursday, 25th September 2003.
