OUTRAGE OVER 999 SHAKE-UP...WHAT NEXT WE ASK?????

Have people and patients noticed?

Every time we get a "NEW" Health Secretary; they make there mark by trying to change everything within the NHS; never for the better; all there intentions are, are to save money; never mind at what cost?

It seems now that our new Health Secretary Ms Patricia Hewitt; is doing just that!

Here is the latest scenario; a shake-up of the Ambulance Service, which is causing public out-cry from all walks of life; will the Government take any notice?  No! It will just carry on as normal.

What Ms Hewitt is planning; we had in Bridlington for 18 months with our Rapid Response/First Responder Ambulance Car; we were told this unit was costing too much and was only ever a trial; it was never permanent? We were told! It was then taken from Bridlington which as a population of 44,000 residents and in the Summer swells to approx 100,000 people, visitors, day-trippers and caravan owners....It was then given to another town? All these ludicrous decisions are made by white collar workers; the very people who are costing the NHS so much money.
