This notification is to inform the Scarborough NHS Healthcare Trust that it is the intention of the: SAVE/SUPPORT BRIDLINGTON HOSPITAL CAMPAIGN GROUP
- To: Firstly; Run a Petition in Bridlington, Filey & surrounding areas and to exceed the previous Petition of 17,000 signatures for the re-opening of Bridlington Hospital's Minor Injuries Unit 24/7 ; to use all available means to archive this; to give the Scarborough NHS Trust maximum of bad publicity in running down the Bridlington & District Hospital.
- To: Secondly Hold a Peaceful Protect @ Bridlington Hospital in the future...... Date to be arrange ; all previous Protests have had maximum publicity and show the Trust up for what they are; scheming to save money by using Stealth & Back-door tactics; down playing statistics & figures as we fully believe this is the norm! Not complying with previous meetings and informing the people, councillors & residents of Bridlington.
- Finally: If it is still the intention as stated by the Trust to reduce the opening times of the MIU on; Monday 4th September 2006 by 12hrs per day........closing 9pm until 9am next day.
The above will be put into operation immediately.......no holds barred! I look forward to a reply by the Trusts Chief Executive or Directors Copies to Media & other officials
