Please read the following statement from: Scarborough & North East Yorkshire NHS Healthcare Trust TWO SENIOR RESIGNATIONS ANNOUNCED Ms Alison Guy & Mr Bernard Flynn Following today's briefings to staff in Bridlington and Scarborough, the following statement is being released to the media later this afternoon: " Scarborough and North East Yorkshire Healthcare Trust have today announced the resignation of Alison Guy as the substantive Chief Executive for the Trust and Bernard Flynn the substantive Director of Finance. Ms Guy and Mr Flynn will leave the Scarborough and North East Yorkshire Healthcare Trust on Sunday 31 December 2006 . Both resignations have been accepted by the Trust following a period when both Ms Guy and Mr Flynn have not been working at the Trust since early July 2006. Interim Chief Executive Iain McInnes thanked Alison and Bernard for their contribution during their employment with the Scarborough and North East Yorkshire Healthcare Trust and wished them both well for the future. " Mick Pilling (writes) We now see the old year out 2006 and the new year in 2007 with yet another Chief Executive for the Scarborugh NHS Trust; lets all hope this is for the better. We firmly believe that Alison Guy did her best for Bridlington Hospital; but her hands were tied from the start; with a cash strapped Trust and little support from Central Government; she was in a no-win-situation; our Campaign group would like to wish her well along with Bernard Flynn. |
