Bridlington Hospital Staff to PAY Car-park Charges £250.00 per year read!!

Here is another SHOCK for the staff , doctors & workers @ the Bridlington Hospital... I have learnt today that all Staff at the fated hospital are having to pay car park charges from April 2007...this news is appalling.  Nurses and Staff need a pay rise not a pay decrease; it could see staff leaving for better paid jobs?

The Cash Strapped Scarborough NHS Trust have come up with another idea to get rid of staff so the hospital cannot function correctly.

The charges will be as follows:

Full time staff etc will pay: £250.00 per year
Part time staff etc will pay: £120.00 per year

Staff at the hospital have received notice of the increases...

Rumours are also ripe that the Trust will try to increase the present car park charges from £1.00 per hour to £2.00 per hour; with other charges rising accordingly......also in April 2007?  This will be met by a stiff opposition including a peaceful protest.

With the present meeting today at the Bridlington Town Hall @ 6.00pm this question can be raised along with a lot more.
