MORE GRIEF @ BRIDLINGTON HOSPITAL STAFF SHORTAGES AGAINST HEALTH & SAFETY

These dedicated staff should not be treated in this way; they can't just walk out to the cafe;  the porters should be staffed correctly to avoid injury or affecting patients; if the porter is tied up then someone suffers.

Today at Bridlington Hospital 

1)   Canteen to closed this afternoon very early; NO staff to run it?  This means NO meals for staff or work force, disgusting how do staff work without been able to get meals and drink etc

2)   There is only (one) Porter on at Bridlington Hospital?  This I am sure breaches all the health & safety rules; porters are used for everything, taking patients from here to there; taking bodies to morgue; maintenance, changing gas bottles; etc the norm is to have 3 porters working; what about lifting; what about troublesome patients and the daily routine

3)   It as been stated by patients that the Bridlingon Hospital is running more like day-case every day; with more patients going to Scarborough hospital is the Trust running the Bridlington Hospital to the ground?

4)   Nurses on the Wards are running at a dangerous level; Porters are running at a dangerous level........what about the patient; would you like to be in hospital in this situation; the Trust have a lot to answer too.
