Discrepancies in Answers from Iain McInnis?

Please note your reply Iain to my questions;  it says that Professor Alberti has not made a formal report! Why not! He is pushing ahead with no formal report!  This should be looked into immediately

You are  also using a report from the Royal College dated 2003 (four years ago) and so the time frame must be relevant. 5 years is not exceptional for research, so why are you making out that it is? We would like for more recent research if there is any, and likewise any research to say things are now different. 5 years would be old for some research, where there is much research available, but I would strongly suggest that there is not so much on this. Protocols for Cardiac within SNEY are saying that"minutes mean myocardium" There is no dispute that time saves lives. Also the call time to needle time will still be increased. Perhaps if Mr. McInnes then causes the loss of life of people needing treatment for a heart attack you can then argue it was due to excessive time taken to get the patient to the hospital and therefore the fault of the Ambulance Service Trust and not SNEY NHS Trust. To my mind this would be convenient.

Note  you have avoided the question (side stepped) about how long Professor Alberti spent. The Royal College is something you said would happen but never has, in much the same way that Professor Boyle has never visited ( again you had said originally that this would happen)?

You are twisting what the Deanery said about training doctors to the best of my knowledge. My understanding was that they had said they do not receive complete training at Bridlington. To overcome this problem the answer could be for doctors to complete their training over different sites (hang on! that's what they do now!)  You were intending to supply a letter regarding the Deanery, it turned out there was no such letter?  You then said you would contact the deanery, did you?  This letter from the deanery was in fact a blatant lie, that is why you received A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE! from the town of Bridlington.

Clearly the idea of voluntary drivers to take people to Scarborough is a good one! It just needs the public to bale out a Mr. McInnes Made problem! And it would be cheap and of course the visitors will not mind spending more time travelling.

Mr McInnes, you are clearly moving forward with your plans despite the fact that you appear to be saying they are far from complete despite the length of time you have now been in post. You have had plenty of time to have proper visits and formal reports from Professor Alberti, Professor Boyle and the Royal College. Please note you were saying that this would happen when you were still interim chief executive.

Please note that these are area's of weakness within your reply which I feel which must be exploited fully.

Regards  Mick Pilling
