Shadow Health Minister Andrew Lansley to Visit Bridlington Hospital 13/03/08

A planned hospital tour - The Rt. Hon. Greg Knight MP for Bridlington has invited The Shadow Health Minister The Rt. Hon. Andrew Lansley he accepted this visit & tour of the Bridlington Hospital because of the ludicrous decision to remove the 6 bed Cardiac Monitoring Unit & 30 bed Acute Medical Services. He would like to see first hand what it mean to Bridlington if these removals go ahead.

His Visit will Take Place: Thursday 13th March 2008 at 2.00pm @ Bridlington Hospital. First Andrew Lansley and Greg Knight will tour the Hospital at 2.00pm until 4.00pm then a planned meeting has been arranged with Mick Pilling of the above group & Unite the Union 4pm til 5pm approx. To discuss the removal of services he will also be told about the Petition which now stands at an astronomical figure and will be going to No10, Downing St on 18th March 2008.

This visit is most welcome after Mick Pilling wrote to the Rt. Hon. Alan Johnson MP Health Minister for the State asking for him to visit Bridlington Hospital; he refused an invite saying his diary was full and saying it was a local issue???
