New Chief Executive For Scarborough NHS Trust - Appointed (Intrim)

Message from Sir Michael Carlisle

Chair announces Trust Interim Chief Executive

Working with the SHA we have now identified an Interim Chief Executive for the Trust.  Christine Green, Chief Executive of Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust , will join the Trust next week.  She brings with her many years of experience to the Trust.

Iain McInnes will work closely with Christine during the first two weeks of joining us to try to provide a smooth transition following the news last week that Iain had chosen to move to a new role within the NHS.

The Trust is looking to identify individuals who can offer the long-term leadership required to take the Trust forward and deliver the best NHS care for people in Scarborough and North East Yorkshire.

Sir Michael said: “We look forward to working with Christine Green who will bring considerable experience to the Trust.”

I find it very hard to beleive that Iain McInnes is leaving his post so fast; he will be gone within 3 weeks......What's behind his departure?????
