You may recall my last email regarding Bed Shortage and the closure of Thornton Ward for decorating etc

WELL! I have it on good authority that the THORNTON WARD will now stay open because of the crisis with the bed shortage at Scarborough,

as I reported previously it was a ludicrous decision to shut a ward at Bridlington Hospital this time of year with the Winter months, so much for management improvement?

THE THORNTON WARD WILL BE ACCESSED ON A WEEK BY WEEK BASIS

16/11/09 Bed CRISIS Shortage at Scarborough Patients coming to Bridlington?

If this is now.....what will happen at the end of November 09 when Thornton Ward closes for Decorating.....this is once more a ludicrous decision made by the people at the top.

4 Beds in CMU occupied by patients (NOT heart patients)....what a fiasco
